We use ExifTool, C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity), and secure hashing to ensure your rights and identity stay embedded and verifiable.
Disclaimer
Authenticxs embeds your selected rights, attribution, and AI opt-out preferences into your image's metadata, but we cannot guarantee that third parties will honor this data or prevent it from being stripped or altered by malicious actors or automated systems. Most social media platforms remove metadata by default, so we advise caution when sharing on those platforms.
That said, embedding metadata is still valuable, especially when sharing your work on your own website, directly with clients, or in controlled environments.
Authenticxs strengthens your authorship claim and helps create a verifiable audit trail, but it does not replace formal copyright registration. We always recommend legally registering your work.
We do not store your image. Only a secure fingerprint is retained to allow for future verification and audit.
Optional features such as visible watermarking, QR code tagging, and downloadable attribution boilerplates are available to further support your rights when publishing online.
